Tops, sunglasses, bikinis, shorts and dresses are just some of the items I tend to wear most during summer. Every season I’ve noticed there are a couple of specific items I opt the most for. As you might know, I just love to share my favorites (if you’ve read my Loves Lately posts) on here. So, I thought I would change it up a little bit and share my ‘Fashion Faves’ from this summer!
《 Buttoned Top 》
In Vienna the weather was really warm, like around 30ºC every single day, and on those days I don’t like to wear short sleeved shirts. So hello tops! This summer I have been loving these tops from ICHI with the buttons down the front (confession time: I don’t only own the white one but also a black one). These type of tops are very simple and the buttons make them a little less boring, but still make them easy to pair with any other type of clothing item.
《 Knotted Bikini Top 》
Before this summer I hadn’t found the perfect bikini… Until, I randomly went onto the Hollister website and actually saw the bikini top I had been looking for: a knotted bikini top. Since I ordered it online (in the sale btw), I wasn’t sure if it would fit. But when I got it in, I put it on and fit perfectly! ♡ So happy me. I haven’t been able to wear it yet, but when I have the chance, I know I have the perfect knotted bikini top to wear.
《 Jean Shorts 》
Just like jeans, shorts can be a hard match to find. Since I know Levi’s jeans fit me really well, I thought I would look into getting a pair of Levi’s shorts. Almost everyone owns a pair of 501 Levi’s shorts and I love the look of them, so I got a pair of 501 High Rise Levi’s shorts with this cute ‘tape’ with Levi’s on the side. The fit of them is perfect for me and I love the little detailing on the side of the shorts. This makes them a little different than the original 501 Levi’s shorts.
《 Lightweight Blouse 》
Not all days in summer will be hot, so I always have a couple of lightweight sweater, shirts and blouses I tend to wear. One of my to-go lightweight long sleeved items has been this Hollister blouse. It’s a little bit cropped and has a pretty lace on the front of the blouse. Btw, I love how this blouse looks in combination with the pair of Levi’s shorts.
《 Wrap Dress 》
Wrap dresses are taking over this summer, am I right? I see wrap dresses everywhere and I really like them. For my trip to Vienna I also wanted a dress I could wear when it would be hot outside. That’s where this dress from H&M is perfect for. I have to be honest, the dress I have is not really a wrap dress, but it does look like it so who cares haha.
《 Simple Sandals 》
There is nothing worse than having to wear a hot pair of sneakers on a hot summer day. Therefore I would really recommend and invest in a good (and of course pretty & comfortable) pair of sandals. When I saw these TOMS sandals, I just had to have them. They are so easy to throw on with any outfit and did you know that when you buy a pair of TOMS shoes, TOMS donate another pair (but also water and glasses) to someone in need. So you get new shoes and are helping someone at the same time. Such a good cause!
These were my ‘Fashion Faves’ of this summer! I am kind of sad because summer here has mostly been super hot days and then just weeks of rain. I really don’t understand the weather. Nice, sunny 25°C days would be fine my be for summer. So, hopefully we will have a late summer with days like that so I can wear these items even more. Interested to see what these items look like?
