During December it’s mostly about my birthday and Christmas for me. When it turns November I already feel like I want it to be December so I can start decorating, buying lots of Christmas gifts and being festive. Last year I posted my first gift guide for Christmas. ? This year I’ve seen so many inspiring ones from other bloggers already, so I wanted to do one of these posts again. I’ve divided this gift guide into different types, just to be sure you can get enough inspiration from this guide!
✰ The Fashion Lover ✰
When I think of a typical fashion lover, in my head I see some type of Carrie Bradshaw. Since I want to keep this gift guide kind of low budget, I am not going to mention high priced items. A fashion lover is all about whatever fits the trend at the moment. I think jewelry and smaller clothing items are great to gift during Christmas. For example, a logo tee is not that expensive and since there are so many different ones available, you are able to find one for anyone.
✰ The Interior Lover ✰
The older I am getting, the more exciting interior items become haha. I don’t know why. Maybe because I just want to create my own space. That’s why I think interior items are also great to gift during the holidays. One thing that’s actually on my wish list is a green velvet cushion. These are really on trend right now and fit the theme of my room very well. As a smaller gift any type of mug is great. You aren’t only able to use it to drink coffee or tea, you can also put a cactus or plant into it.
✰ The Photography Lover ✰
As a photography/camera geek myself, of course I had to include a couple of items a photography lover would like to receive at Christmas. ? Since photography gear can be very expensive, it can be hard to actually find something to buy. When it comes to photography, there is always more to learn. So a book like ‘Snap!’ is great because this way you get to know more about how to take photos with a phone as well. A fun accessoire to have in combination with your other gear is to have a photo printer. This way you have display your photographs in your room as well.
✰ The Book Lover ✰
I think books are always a great to give as a gift, for any family member or friend. They might have a topic they are very into and I am sure you can find a couple of books that might be interesting for them. If you think it’s hard to make time to actually read the books, you can also ask for or gift a coffee table book. This way you can sometimes look through this book to hopefully get somewhat inspired.
✰ The Everything Lover ✰
When somebody says they don’t make a wish list because they like everything… You might think it is easy to get a gift for someone like this, but it’s actually difficult. Of course you want to get something for them that you’re sure they will like. I find this is way easier to do for women. For example, bath stuff is always good to gift. Besides that, something inspiring or motivating like The Five Minute Journal. Lastly, pretty Christmas ornaments are always a good idea, especially when they are so adorable like the ones from Vondels. ?
I’ve already done some Christmas shopping and my own gift guide actually helped me with it! Like the title of this post already says, I am the type that just loves to giving gifts. ?? And I also enjoying creating Christmas posts a lot. Wait until you see the next couple of posts… Do you love the Christmas season? Will this gift guide help you when you’re doing your Christmas shopping?
