I’ve been seeing so many photos on Tumblr of breakfasts in bed and I don’t know but for some reason I think it fits this season, which is fall of course, really good. So I thought: Why don’t I just share my perfect Sunday breakfast? I don’t usually eat mine in bed but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t look and sounds as cozy as the fall time, so here it is: my perfect Sunday breakfast!
I love the smell of freshly baked croissants on a Sunday morning. Luckily they have created the easiest way to make your own croissants at home instead of having to go to a bakery to get them. And what do I put on them? Well, mostly jam and to be specific: rose hip jam. If you haven’t tried this yet, you just have to. Trust me, it’s really good.
Another thing I love to eat for breakfast is just some toast (toasted bagels are the best but I don’t eat them very often). And on there I’ll put some delicious peanut butter (mmm).
Then there’s fruit. I am the type of person who doesn’t eat that much fruit throughout the week. But for a good breakfast on a Sunday I love to eat some strawberries, some grapes or a kiwi. These are just my favorite fruits overall and I am pretty sad, because they don’t have these fruits throughout winter… So I’ll just enjoy them to the fullest while I still can.
And something to drink to finish it all… I always drink a glass of water. And when it’s getting colder, I love a big cup of tea. Lately I’ve been loving Apple Pie and Forrest Fruit flavor. Most people would like some freshly pressed orange juice but I don’t like that at all… (sorry not sorry) So I just enjoy my lovely tea and glass of water in the morning.
To sum it all up, I just love a good breakfast. Especially on a Sunday, since that’s always the ‘sleep-in-and-relax’ kind of day (with a lot of homework and projects that have to be finished as well). Could someone please bring it to me this Sunday (insert big puppy eyes here)? Thanks already. Now I’ve gotten curious, what does your perfect Sunday breakfast look like?
