There is no better way to catch up with your friends than to wander around and have some lunch (and maybe even shop a little bit). So that’s why Eline and I went to The Hague. Even tough I go to The Hague a lot, I don’t know about all the hotspots. I really like to wander around all the different streets and stores. That’s how Eline and I found Sissy-Boy Daily. I’ve been to the store from Sissy-Boy before but I didn’t know they also had a cafe type of space in their store. We decided to have lunch here and I really wanted to share this not very well known hotspot with you!
Sissy-Boy Daily | Haagsche Bluf 14, The Hague
The first thing I noticed when we walked in was the interior. You might know by now that I am a sucker for a lovely interior haha. We got here when we got to the end of the Sissy-Boy store. We entered through the stairs and I was really surprised. They have created these cute corners with vintage looking chairs, lamps and stuff like that. It looks and feels very cozy. Since they have a lot of tasty stuff on the menu, we first got a cup of tea and latte macchiato and took some time to decide what we wanted to order.
On the menu they have different things (how cute does the letter board on the wall looks btw!). At Sissy-Boy daily you can have lunch like we did but they also have croissant, banana bread, brownies and more. You can even buy different kinds of jam and tea!
Since they had so many delicious things on the menu, Eline and I decided to share two things. We ordered the soup of the day, which was tomato soup with mascarpone. And we also ordered a tosti (my favorite thing to have for lunch) with mozzarella, tomato sauce and chorizo. Below you can see the delicious food we had. When I see these photos, it makes me hungry again.
While enjoying our lovely lunch Eline and I caught up on life, school, friends and so much more. We even made plans for some upcoming blog posts. I really like to talk about Thoughts in Style with friends because maybe they have some ideas what I could write about and stuff like that. We thought of a fun DIY project and maybe even some baking around Christmas time? You’ll get to see these things pretty soon on here…
I don’t think enough people know about this hotspot and that’s why I wanted to share it on here. I am all about the atmosphere of cafes and Sissy-Boy Daily is great to work on school stuff so I will definitely be doing that soon. The service is also very lovely (Hey Sheima, I know you’re reading this hihi), which is an important part for me when it comes to a spot like this. You can find Sissy-Boy Daily at Haagsche Bluf 14 in The Hague (and definitely have a look at their store as well!). Are you going to visit this hotspot? What do you think when you see the photos?
