It’s almost Christmas time, which means it’s also wish list making time and buying gifts time! Buying gifts is something I love to do because I love to go on a haunt and find the best gifts for someone. Or just buy something I like from their wish list, which I know will make them happy. So, that’s why I am posting this blog with some holiday gift guide inspiration, to make Christmas a little less stressful and even more fun than that it already is!
☆ The best gifts for game lovers ☆
Something I do way too little but I want to do more often is play games. From board games to card games and video games. Since there are so many different type of games, I think these next items are very fun to gift to anyone. Keep in mind, when buying someone a game for Christmas, you might be playing that all night, so choose wisely.
↠ Nintendo Switch: When I was little, I always wanted a Nintendo DS and played on that thing for days on end. Right now, it’s all about the Nintendo Switch. The fun thing with the Nintendo Switch is that you can also play games with multiple people. Time for Mario Kart!
↠ Cards Against Humanity or What Do You Meme: I have played this once before and both games are so funny. When it comes to Card Against Humanity, it’s not for everyone, but when you know, you know. Got a meme specialist on hand? Then What Do You Meme is such a great gift.
↠ Set: One of my favorite games: SET! I get so competitive playing this and I believe not many people have heard of this, which is sad because it’s a lot of fun.
☆ Sparkly jewelry gifts ☆
Jewerly, one of my favorite things to ask for and also gift to somebody else. With family members and friends I always pay close attention to what type of jewelry pieces they like to wear. From material to style. This is what makes it easier to buy them something for their birthday or Christmas.
↠ Personalized jewelry items: Gifting something personalized, like a jewelry piece, makes it even more special. Personalization can be in different ways. For example, a monogram necklace, an initial bracelet or an engraved necklace. Personalized jewelry items will be greatly appreciated, believe me. And this doesn’t have to be very expensive. Check out oNecklace, because they have tons of options.
↠ Minimalistic earrings: You can never have enough earrings, am I right? That’s actually what I put on my wish list for Christmas because I love to mix and match different earrings. From a couple silver dangling earrings to some studs.
☆ Books to gift ☆
Books are a great gift because you can gift a book that’s written by someone’s favorite writer, or about a subject they like or in a certain genre. So, there are tons of options and I’ve listed some of the books that are on my wish list.
↠ The Power of Crystal Healing: Like I’ve mentioned before, I am very interested in crystals and there’s always more to learn about them. This is something I want to know more about so this would make a great book to gift someone who is also into crystals.
↠ Don’t Be a Tourist in New York: New York. You’ll hear me talk about that city all the freaking time but it’s just such a magical city and I can’t wait to visit again. So, when I find a book that features hotspots and tips about New York, I just have to have it.
↠ Jamie’s VEG: Oh my, cooking. Some people love to cook, others hate it but everyone can use some cooking inspiration to switch things up. I haven’t been eating meat for almost a year (I think), and sometimes it’s hard to think of something different to cook. So, this new cookbook from Jamie Oliver makes a great gift, even for meat lovers because you can always add or replace anything you like or don’t like.
☆ A little more luxury gifts ☆
Okay, I have to be honest. Luxury items are hard to buy for somebody else, except if they have a specific wish. Because one, you are about to spend a lot of money and two, you want to person getting the gift to really love it and use it for ever and ever. So, if you’re in the position to buy luxury gifts for Christmas, these are some of my suggestions.
↠ Apple AirPods: This has been one of my best purchases I’ve made in 2019. Once you try the AirPods, you want to use them all the time. They are more expensive, but the person you’re gifting this to, will most definitely use the heck out of them. Or just gift them to yourself hehe.
↠ Designer Bag: Bags, bags and even more bags. Girls are crazy about bags and they all have their own needs when it comes to a handbag. I know mine. I always want my bag to have a zipper, different compartments and minimalistic. So, if you know the wishes of the person you want to gift a designer bag to, you can go on the haunt and find the perfect bag. One of my fave brands when it comes to bags has to be Kate Spade, so definitely browse their website.
☆ Cute knick knack gifts ☆
I love going on the haunt to find the best small gifts to gift. Most of the time I think these have to be practical things and not things someone will like for one second and never use again. For example, minis of someone’s favorite product is always a great idea. This is something they’ll appreciate and use all the time.
↠ Mug: You can never have enough mugs, am I right? There are tons of mugs available on the internet. A mug from a favorite tv series, idol or animal. Over the years I’ve collected so many different mugs, so when I get a house and friends will visit me, they have a big selection of mugs to choose from, which is pretty fun.
↠ Notebook/bullet journal: Notebooks are always needed to take notes or maybe even keep a journal. Currently different brands bring out notebooks with the cutest patterns, designs and colors. Besides that, if you haven’t heard of bullet journals, where have you been? A bullet journal is like a notebook but with little ‘dots’ in it. So, you can use it as a notebook but also to draw or doodle in. A very versatile gift!
↠ Measurement spoons: Since baking is one of the things I like to do, I always have to measure things. So, when I had to think of cute knick knacks to mention in this Christmas gift guide, I immediately thought of measurement spoons. Most recipes I use are in English and they use different measurement tools, so that’s why measurement spoons are a great (but also small) gift for the baking lovers out there.
Hopefully this gift guide will help you a little bit when buying presents for your friends and family! I have already bought most of the presents for Christmas with my family but writing this blog post has also inspired me to get some other presents… Have you already made a wish list? And how you do celebrate the holidays?
With posting this blog post, I also want to wish you a very…
Merry Christmas! 🎅🏻
