Live By The Sun, Love By The Moon | Loves Lately

How is it March already? I can’t believe how quick 2020 is passing by… Most of the time I am very much a home body but this year I have been very outgoing. I have been out multiple times almost every weekend. How weird? And also very fun! I have been to different events, went for lunch a lot and just did a lot of fun things. So in this period of time I have also discovered some new favorites! This Loves Lately post includes anything from earrings to shampoo, a Facebook group, phone cases and much more. ♡

↣ FASHION

You can never have enough earrings. For Christmas I actually got a pair of pearl earrings. They are really dainty, which I love and that’s why I’ve been wearing them a ton. In combination with other dainty earrings they look perfect.

A big and maybe a little bit of an impulse buy from me, has to be the Marc Jacobs Snapshot bag. This bag caught my eye a few times on Instagram but I didn’t think much about it. Until, just after Christmas, I was browsing through De Bijenkorf webshop and I spotted the Marc Jacobs bag. Since I got different gift cards for Christmas and saved up for a bag in the future, I looked up tons of review about this bag and fell in love with it even more. So, what did I do? Yes, I bought it. It’s a real statement bag with the logo on the front of the bag and the logo strap. It’s definitely out of my comfort zone but that’s good and this bag is so cute! I have been wearing it so much, even though I am not able to take all of my junk with me. Every time I wear it it’s a challenge to decide what I am taking with me but I am getting better and better.

What’s a phone without a phone case? I can’t go without a phone case because I love to switch the case to whatever I like at that moment and it protects my phone as well. I am always so paranoid when it comes to dropping my phone. So, I was very glad when I received these phone cases and this AirPods case from Hoesjes Outlet. A phone case that doubles as a mirror? So handy! Besides that, everybody knows I love me some marble, so the other phone case and AirPods case are literally perfect. What I really like about these phone cases is that they really hug your phone and also protect the sides of the phone. Currently I am using the marble phone cases AND marble AirPods case. Marble overload!

↣ BEAUTY

I’ve already shared Gisou products in Loves Lately posts before and now there’s another one! For my birthday my colleagues gifted me the Gisou shampoo. They knew I was very into their products and therefore bought the shampoo for me. Of course I was very excited about it, but before I shared it on here, I wanted to try it for a longer period to really share my thoughts about it. So here are my thoughts:

⊹ I had to get used to the fact that the shampoo doesn’t foam as much.

⊹ It smells a little different than the other Gisou products but still very good.

⊹ My scalp can be very sensitive but isn’t whenever I use the Gisou shampoo.

⊹ Oh, and my hair is very soft and shiny!

↣ LIFESTYLE

On Instagram I’ve been following Sivan Ayla for a really long time. I love to watch her Instagram Stories (because she’s very funny) and that’s when I found out she has this community group on Facebook. I decided to join in and I haven’t regretted it. It’s so fun to help other girls with questions they have and it can also be entertaining to read the stories the girls post and advice others give them. Girls empowering other girls!

Wanderlust is getting real… I finally booked another trip! And this trip is going to… Valencia, Spain! I can’t freaking wait to explore this city. I’ve already saved a ton of hotspots and travel tips on Pinterest, but if you’ve been and have any tips for me, let me know! This is definitely a big favorite of mine at the moment because I have something exciting to look forward to.

I actually have another favorite that I forgot to take a photo of… Anyways, I did want to mention it in this blog post, so here we go (without an actual photo of it): Everything about the moon is interesting and lately I’ve been getting more and more into astrology and the moon phases. The first thing about the moon phases is to know when it’s full moon, new moon, etc. That’s why I bought this extremely pretty moon calendar by Mañana Mañana. I’ve talked about Mañana Mañana before and all of the products Nina selects or designs are so lovely. When I saw she designed this moon calendar, I had to have it. It displays the different moon phases with gold foil. Now I just need to keep learning about the moon phases and what influence they have on me… Now this Loves Lately blog post is complete!
