Prints, Art Work & Posters Are A Must In Every Interior | How To Style: Prints

It feels like I haven’t written a blog post in such a long time but for that might not seem so because there comes a new blog post online every Wednesday. But over the past couple of weeks my life has been so chaotic. After I got back from Milan, Italy, I had three days fully planned to study for the theory test to get my driverslicense. Luckily on Monday I passed this test so now I only have to finish some other things for school and then I finally have time to start writing some blog posts for you again. I have some pretty fun things planned so get ready for those! In the mean time, here’s a new type of blog post. In this blog post I show you how you can style prints, art work and posters in your interior. Let’s get started! ?

The very first and most common way to style prints, art work and posters is with a photo frame collage on your wall. The fun thing with this is you can make it however you like. You can only add quotes to the frames or buy different times of art work and put these up on your wall. I get a lot of inspiration for collages like these on Pinterest (check my interior board because I pin a lot of stuff on there) and from the Michalaks vlogs. They have the wall above their couch with lots of art pieces and I love the look of this. When I own a house (in the far future) I am definitely going to do this as well.

How to create a wall like this is actually very easy. First of all you need something to put on the wall. Then you need something to put all of your pieces in. I think vintage photo frames such an awesome look and I love to pair vintage with modern frames as well. You can find vintage frames at second hand store or at a market like IJ-Hallen in Amsterdam. But you can also decide to all use the same size and color frames (like a white square frame from Ikea for example).

On to the next way I like to style prints in my interior. This one is (just like the other ones) very easy and inexpensive. The only thing you have to do is find a print you would like to display differently than on your wall and get a clipboard. I got this black clipboard from Ikea and it’s a great way to change a print or quote every once in awhile. The way I like to place it in my room is on one of my shelves in combination with some plants and little knick knacks.

The last way you can style prints or art work is by using a wooden frame. I don’t know if I am the only one but using a wooden frame work kind of reminds me of what houses would be decorated with in old movies. But I love the vintage look of it. There are different sizes of these frames so you can use it for smaller or bigger prints.

I got these three prints and the wooden frame work from Posterlounge. When I received a message from them, I started looking for some prints I like and it was very easy to find what I like. They have different categories, like rooms where you can put a piece, art styles and more. Of course I was looking through the Scandinavian category because I love this interior style. I would definitely recommend looking on here if you’re looking for prints to put in your room or house because they have so much to choose from. Anyways, enough about these prints. What did you think of this type of post? Would you like to see another one of these?
