It’s that time again… interior inspiration time! I go through these phases where I am really into interior things and that phase is now haha. Lately Pinterest has been filled with tons of interior inspiration and that kind of inspired me to do something with that again. So, here we are! I made some small changes and that’s why I created this blog post because it’s time to say hello to my new fine line wall art!
Fine Line Art
First of all, what is fine line art exactly? Well, the name kind of explains it all. It’s a piece of art, created with fine lines. Before I always thought there was one kind of art: historic art (or whatever you like to call it). This might sound weird but since I’ve been going more to different museums and even galleries, I learnt more about different art forms and the ones I liked best. At the moment I am very much into minimalistic art. Art pieces that have subtle shapes or lines in them, like fine line art!
As you might know, every once in awhile I like to change things up in my room. Especially when seasons change. So, just around the end of summer, I looked at my room and realized I haven’t changed the prints in my frames for such a long time and I was kind of ready for something new.
When looking for new prints, I sometimes use postcards I got on holiday or I look for inspiration on Pinterest. On Pinterest I saw a lot of bloggers using prints from Etsy. Sometimes I order unique items off Etsy, but I never realized you can actually order prints that are immediately downloadable. So, when I discovered that, I went on the hunt for the perfect prints to put in my room. When I found them, I paid for them and immediately received the print in my mailbox! This is a simple tip I just had to share because you are supporting the artist by buying the print but you don’t have to wait for it to get to you and can immediately print it out and put it up.
I bought my fine line art from…
… ArtPrintsFactory. I believe ArtPrintsFactory was the first shop I found on Etsy with the type of prints I was looking for. If you look at their ‘modern home’ category, you’ll find the most beautiful, neutral and minimalistic art works.
… MarsalaDigitalPrints. With fine line art, you have different type of fine line art. For example, one line art. For these pieces they one use one line to create the art work. The ones from MarsalaDigitalPrints are definitely my fave!
… SundrySociety. With SundrySociety it’s a combination of modern art and fine line art, so that’s why I also got a print from them. As they say themselves: “Trendy art for mødern minimalistics with wanderlust.” So, as you can imagine, I immediately looked through the different art pieces and really loved all of them. I feel very proud I haven’t bought all of them…
… Infinitenoon. If you’re really into minimalistic feminine art, Inifitenoon is perfect for you! All of these fine line art works are simply beautiful. They have a large range of different fine line art, so you’ll definitely find something you like.
I am really loving the new prints I’ve put up in my room! Right now I have also decorated my room a little more for autumn/fall, so just imagine some little pumpkins on top of my cabinets and on the shelves. Pumpkins just scream fall/autumn so how could I not put some in my room? I might even paint them to fit the color scheme of my room a little better… Anyways, this was of course about the fine line art and I am curious: Have you fallen in love with fine line art already? What’s your favorite interior trend right now?
Love,
Neeltje
