During the festive season, I always try to share a gift guide. I have to be honest, it’s really difficult to think of gifts that are nice to gift and also to receive. So this type of blog post has been on my ‘to blog about’ list for awhile but of course I had to think of simple, meaningful and fun ideas to gift to someone first. I have been noting down gift ideas when I thought of them and when I finally had the best (and enough) ideas, I wanted to write this post. So here it is! The gift ideas include chocolate, crystals, memories and more!
#1 || Memories
Making and sharing memories with friends is one of the best things there is. To keep memories, I like to create a scrapbook. Scrapbooking is fun and keeps you creative at the same time. I like to first lay out all of the things I have to put in the scrapbook. For example, I keep tickets, business card and photo booth photos. I combine these with photos I took with friends and have printed out and also I rip out of magazines or newspapers. It’s a fun project to do and makes a special and personal gift for someone!
#2 || Chocolate
Chocolate is everybody’s best friends. If you want to gift something small to a friend, definitely think about a bar of their favorite chocolate. My choice for chocolate would definitely be a bar of Tony Chocolonely. You can easily send Tony Chocolonely Chocolate with Greetz. Greetz is a website with cards and gifts you can send to anyone you like. I like to order a quick gift for someone and send it directly to their home, as a little surprise. On their website, they also have a stackable tin with three different flavours of Tony Chocolonely chocolate. I mean, everyone would like to get that as a gift, right?

#3 || Crystals
I’ve dedicated a full blog post to crystals before when I just got into them. Crystals are very special to me. I think they are incredibly interesting and there is so much to learn about. Anyways, buying crystals for yourself is fairly easy. Whenever I see a crystal and I am drawn to it, that’s when I get. It’s just based on a feeling (which mostly comes from what you need in that specific moment and the crystal you’re drawn to, can help you to overcome that). Whenever I want to buy a crystal for someone else, it’s different. Sometimes I just know the perfect crystal to fit the person I want to gift it to. Sometimes it’s a little bit harder. That’s when I found this blog post on how to choose a crystal for someone else. It’s definitely helpful if you don’t know where to begin or how to find the perfect crystal.
#4 || Jewelry
I am crazy about jewelry, especially silver, minimalistic jewelry pieces. Right now these are so on-trend that you are able to find them almost everywhere. There are so many brands that create small and the cutest jewelry pieces, like necklaces, bracelets and earrings. One of my favorite things to do is to browse through Etsy. On Etsy you’ll find tons of smaller businesses that sell handmade pieces. That’s what makes these jewelry pieces unique and also lovely to gift to someone.
#5 || Time
The best gift you can get someone is time. Yes, this might sound weird because how do you gift time? Well, just take time out of your day to contact them or make time to meet up with or go somewhere. My friends and I find it so much harder to think of gifts now that we’re older. That’s why we gift each other a lunch or go on a girls weekend away so we have time to catch up and spend time together. For me, time is the most difficult but important thing to ‘gift’ to someone.

These are the five gifts I think are very simple but still meaningful and also fun! If you really have no idea what to gift someone, and my suggestions aren’t something you want to give, just ask them what they would like. I know it’s a lot more fun to think of something yourself and then surprise them. But some people are very particular with the gifts they like (Rachel from Friends haha) so it’s way easier to ask them what they would like to get. Anyways, just have fun picking out a gift and happy gifting! Do you like to give gifts? What’s your favorite thing to give to someone?
