The holiday season has come to a close and that’s pretty sad if you ask me. Just before Christmas it was my 23rd birthday, which I celebrated with my friends and family, and on December 24 my family and I celebrated Christmas. That means I have to keep my birthday and Christmas in mind when I am making my wish lists. This makes it pretty difficult but luckily for me, the people around me know me really well and got me really thoughtful presents that I am so grateful for. Last year I did one of these blog posts so I thought I would share some of the gifts I got for my birthday and Christmas again!

The Essentials Rockstar Kit || In 2018 I have discovered a lot of new things and one of those are crystals. At the beginning of 2018 I shared a full blog post about what you need to know about crystals and how they can help you. For my birthday I got The Essentials Rockstar Kit. This is a kit consists of 8 chakra crystals and an energizing spray. It comes with a card that has all the information about the crystals on there. I can’t wait to meditate at home with my new yoga mat and use these crystals at the same time.
“Babe, you got this” Sweater || You can never go wrong with a pink, warm and soft sweater, am I right! My friends know me really well and got me this sweater that says “Babe, you got this” for my birthday! You might recognize this quote because in 2017 the girls from Hashtag Workmode also published a book I own (and talked about in this blog post). Ever since I got the sweater, I’ve been living in it. Fitbit || For my birthday there was one thing that I really wanted to have and that thing is a Fitbit. I am so thankful I got the Fitbit Charge 3 from my parents and grandma because now I can keep track of my steps, sleep, work outs I do and it also works as a smart watch (which is really awesome). It gives me so much information what I didn’t know so I am very happy with this birthday gift. With the Fitbit Charge 3 I got the sport strap so I also bought a leather strap in the color ‘plum’ for everyday use.

Yoga Mat & Blocks || Whenever I do yoga, I take a class at my gym. Since I also wanted to be able to meditate more and do yoga at home, I got a (pink!) yoga mat and yoga blocks for Christmas. Now, if I need it, I can take some time every single day to have a moment for myself.

Books || Ever since I started my new job, I have been bombarded with this book called “Nice Girls Don’t Get The Corner Office”. So many influencer and entrepreneurs have been talking about it and that’s what got me very interested. It’s meant to be I think. Anyways, I am curious if the advice in the book will help me in the future of my career. Besides that, you can never have enough coffee table books so now I have another one… It’s called “Cordially Invited” and it’s filled with tips on how to host a party, recipes and cute decor inspiration.
NYX Palette || Trying new makeup products has always been something I like to do. Sometimes you discover so many new favorite things. Last year I tried the Benefit mascara’s for the first time and now I can’t go without them. During the holidays I mix things up with my makeup and also wear eyeshadow. For Christmas I got a giftcard so I decided to spend it on a new eyeshadow palette. I actually chose the eyeshadow shades in this palette myself. They are called: Diamond Lust, J’adore, Stiletto and Own The Night.

I loved sharing some of the gifts I got from my family and friends! I appreciate it so much that people take time out of their day to think of something they think I would like to have or buy something I asked for. When someone asked me what I wanted to get I said doing something or going somewhere with them is also a present to me. For example, Lotte got me such cute earrings and with that I also got to pick where to have lunch with her (we went to Paco Ciao of course) so we could catch up. I love that! Anyways, I just wanted to say that I am grateful. That’s it. What did you get for Christmas? And what are you grateful for?
