Stationery Supplies Like These Are Absolute Life Savers | Five Things

Stationery supplies everywhere! Yes, they are everywhere in this blog post… Just so you’re warned in advance haha. I’ve been following Kate La Vie and Estée LaLonde for a really long time and recently they both posted something about their new stationery stuff and favorites. This got me thinking. Over the years when I’ve been in school and college, I’ve found so many lovely stationery items and brands. Of course I had to share this once in a blog post with all of you and here it finally is! Enjoy ✎

Quote Pencils: Monk & Anna via Brainy Days € 4,95

Most of the time I just use any pen I can get my hands on but when it comes to my stationery, pencils look so much cuter. If you look on Pinterest, you’ll see lots of these pencils with quotes on them. I own six of these type of pencils. Mine are this light purple and have quotes and words on them at the top. And yes, you’ve seen it correctly… The quotes and words are copper (just like part of the eraser), how cute! I use pencils like this to do handlettering, which they are perfect for.

I know that sometimes you just need some fun things to spice up your planner or notebook and this item can do that for you. Of course I am talking about washi tape. There are so many different types of washi tape, which makes it fun to play around with. Below you can see the ones I have at the moment. One has small triangles on it, another has thin stripes on it and the last one says “I’ll do that later” in a copper color. Very funny to use when you’ve made a to do list and didn’t get around to doing something, just add the “I’ll do that later”. This way you do remind yourself you’ll have to do it later since you haven’t done it yet haha.

Washi Tape: Studio Stationery via Liefde voor papier € 3,50 | “Let’s do amazing things this month” Planner: Stradivarius € 7,95

If you know a little bit about me, then you would know that I like to plan everything out. Maybe you’re also like this but I like to see everything written out in a schedule or something like that. At first I always used to have a weekplanner on my desk but since life is pretty busy in college, a monthly overview is way better. At the moment I am using this pink monthly planner from Stradivarius (it’s cute, right?). The thing that got me was that you can add the months and dates yourself. So you don’t have to use it in a certain year, which makes it easy to use whenever you want.

Mini Notebooks: Tinne+Mia via Liefde voor papier € 7,99

A student life is busy and most of the time very chaotic. Just before and during a week of exams I use so many different stationery items, especially sticky notes when I have to study certain chapters of a book. To make my life a lot easier, I read all of the chapters and if I find something I definitely need to know for the exam, I mark it with a sticky note and write the name of theory on the sticky note. A very effective way when you have to study from a book.

If there’s one stationery item I have a lot of, it is definitely notebooks. For some reason I always see a notebook I like and end up buying. Do you recognize this? I know there are more people out there who do this, like my mom haha. Anyways, right now I really like using very small notebooks because you can grab them and throw them in your bag to take with you. A notebook always comes in handy because you never know when you have to write down something important (like when your phone battery is dead).

Password Organizer: Studio Stationery via Liefde voor papier € 3,95

These were the five stationery essentials I use on (almost) a daily bases. As you can tell from this blog post there are some brands I really like for stationery items. I also have a couple of others you definitely have to check out. First, Ban.do has the cutest notebooks and pen pouches with recognizable quotes on it. Second, in London Eline and I discovered Paperchase. You can literally find everything here and you want to buy everything as well. You’ve been warned. And lastly, Jo & Judy. A brand I discovered recently and I like because of the minimalistic vibes, especially the pink collection has lovely items in it. What is your favorite stationery brand? What are you stationery essentials?

Love,

Neeltje

Zo’n password organizer lijkt me handig!

Malou x

I’m definitely the person who likes to plan. Sometimes I write list for just the fun of it. I also have way to many notebooks, planners, pens and sticker ?.
    I do use them though
