While I was in Vienna, Austria a couple of weeks ago, it was really summer. Almost every single day it was 30°C or higher. So hello sweaty weather. Everyone that knows me well, knows that I never really wear anything else than a pair of jeans. Well, last year in Paris I wore a dress and this time in Vienna I wore a dress again. “Oh my… It’s crazy! Neeltje wearing a dress *mouths drop open*.” Want to know all the details of this look? Well, lucky for you I am sharing it all in this blog post!
Patterned Dress: H&M
Let’s start with the dress. I know, it’s just crazy I am actually wearing another dress in an outfit post. It’s still kind of out of my comfort zone and I know there are more people out there that aren’t very crazy about dresses. Even if you’re not really into dresses, I am sure you’ll love this one. The fit looks good on everybody. When I first got it, I thought it kind of looked like the very popular wrap dresses but without a wrap part that can fly open at any moment haha. It has a band around the waist, which you are able to tighten or loosen up. I think that’s what makes this dress very flattering. The pattern is black & white, but if you look closely, it’s very interesting with different flowers and leaves on it.
You are able to wear dresses like this to so many different occasions. For example: a wedding, a family reunion, a night out with the girls, work and many more.
White Sneakers: Adidas | Crossbody Bag: Tommy Hilfiger
Since I am wearing this dress very casual, I paired it with my fave white sneakers at the moment from Adidas. They are very simple but I can walk on them for days (which is really a must if you are on holiday and walking A LOT). If I would wear it for a more formal occasion, I would definitely wear this with a pair of sandals or heels. A small change like that can already change the vibe of your outfit.
And yes of course I am wearing my beloved Tommy Hilfiger crossbody bag with this look. It fits my camera perfectly so I always bring it with me on holiday. When it comes to other accessories, we didn’t get any photos of those because that was just the same as I am wearing all the time. As a watch I am wearing my Fitbit*, earrings are kind of similar from this outfit post, the usual rings I also wore with this look and for bracelets I am actually wearing all bracelets I got while on holiday in different places (Athens & Berlin) and one I made myself. Maybe I should make a blog post about that bracelet because it’s so easy to make and very cute to gift to your friends.
Before I round up this outfit post, I just want to take a moment for this beautiful location Lotte and I found while being at Schloß Schönbrunn. This arched way with tons of roses is just a dream. When we were there, there weren’t as many roses blooming anymore. So if they are all blooming, I bet it would be even prettier. Fun fact: While we were taking photos here, so many people asked us to take photos of them. We were having a little photoshoot ourselves and also did a photoshoot for others. So funny! Anyways… Are you a dresses type of person? What’s your favorite clothing item to wear during summer?
Love,
Neeltje
