I thought it was definitely time to give you a little update of how I style items in my room at the moment. These are the type of posts I enjoy to create. Especially whenever I have some new items in my room. I haven’t made big changes but still it does look very different. In this post I want to give some tips on how to have decor in your interior, that aren’t expensive. I hope you’ll like my favorite vintage and unique looking items I’ve put in my room as well!
Everyone knows that I am really into photography. The last couple of years I’ve actually started looking for old cameras to buy. ? I am very particular when it comes to cameras so I don’t buy every single one I could get my hands on. I didn’t want cameras that looked the same, I just want the ones that look good to me. At first it didn’t matter to me if the camera would work or not, but it is really fun if the camera actually does work. One of the favorite cameras I own is actually the first camera that my grandpa bought. As you can imagine this one is very special to me.
Besides that I am very into photography, plants can’t be missed from my interior. ? When I first added plants to my room it were mostly cacti. Right now I have also found air plants and other succulents are very easy to take care of. Especially the air plants I’ve been loving because I can display them anywhere in my room, like in a terrarium or a stand.
At first I wanted everything in my room to be white but it’s way more fun to experiment with different colors in my room. Most of the items in my room are now black, white, silver, grey and green colored. The way I try to get more ‘colors’ in my room is through art work and photo frames. At Sissy-Boy I bought this wired photo frame to put this card in from Atelier 8. It really gives me this vintage vibe, especially with the art work in it as well. You can see how easy it is to create a vintage vibe like that.
It’s always nice to have flowers or other types of plants in your home. Like I just said, I like to display my plants in different ways. Whenever I go on Pinterest, I pin tons of inspirational interior photos. In some of the photos I saw that people actually used old wine bottles as a vase. Eline saved this Jack Daniels bottle for me and I added a fake monstera leaf to it. A cheap and unique way to style flowers or plants!
I’ve always been interested in crystal stones. ? When I was little I used to have a couple but I couldn’t find them anymore. Then a couple of months ago I had read some things about crystal stones and decided to research the meaning and power of each stone. It’s all very interesting to me. If you’re open to these things, I would definitely recommend researching the meaning and all that stuff.
Like I said, I have been bringing on some changes in my bedroom. I want to paint my pink walls white, I’ve dismantled my bed for some parts and put some furniture pieces in different places. When I want to change something, I just make plans for it and do it. Especially when it comes to my interior. You don’t have to make major changes, just a small change can make a big difference. Momenteel woon ik nog thuis en is het niet aan mij om iets aan het interieur te veranderen. Als het van mij afhing veranderde ik alles, haha. Het is er zo donker en ik wil licht. Donkere meubels en bepaalde meubelstukken zijn ondertussen al vervangen waardoor het eigenlijk niet meer in het interieur past.. Maar wie ben ik 😉

Wat een mooie spullen zeg! De luchtplantjes heb ik ook zo leuk! Ben een tijdje geleden begonnen met veranderen in de woonkamer nu alleen nog de stenen muur veranderen en dan ben ik voorlopig wel tevreden met de woonkamer. Bij jou ziet het er super uit!

Heel gaaf! De camera’s vind ik heel tof maar de planten zijn ook super, ze maken het echt helemaal af. Platen overleven het bij mij nooit – zou misschien ook eens een cactus moeten proberen.
