What I Wear On The Weekend During Fall | Outfit

The weekend. The two days to relax. The time to wear the comfiest clothes you can think of. My weekend attire is different every time, because some weekends I don’t leave the house. But when I do, I want to be comfy and still look presentable (you never know who you might run into, am I right). During fall season, I looooove to layer clothing items and that’s exactly what I did with this weekend outfit.

Beige Hoodie: H&M | Black Coat: ZARA

A comfy outfit all starts with a hoodie for me. This hoodie is the best item I’ve bought this year I think. Right when the stay at home order started, I bought this one and I’ve been wearing it lots. A little oversized and it has this neutral, beige color. Perfect to pair with any other colors or tones, like black. H&M has lots of these ultra comfy hoodies and I am planning on getting another one soon.

Layering, layering and even more layering. Yes. During fall and winter I just have to layer different items. With this outfit I could’ve also worn a white blouse underneath my hoodie, but I decided to just wear my (new) Zara coat over it. As soon as a Zara opened in Leiden, I went there and got home with a new coat: this long black coat. It’s a staple everyone should own and I only released that when I bought it. Besides that, when I tell people what I paid for it, they don’t believe me because it looks a lot more expensive. Always a plus.

Black Jeans: Levi’s | Chunky Booties: Tommy Jeans

With me wearing a lot of black in this outfit, I thought it would be too dark. In reality, I really liked this look. So, I am wearing a pair of black skinny jeans from Levi’s. These are (of course) high waisted, which is a ‘must’ for me. Since I have had these jeans for a long time, they have stretched out a bit. So, I started wearing a simple belt with it. I recently got this one (also in brown) because I liked the look of the buckle.

To stay in the ‘color palette’, I went for my chunky Tommy Jeans boots. Last year I bought these booties and now I see almost everyone wearing chunky boots like this. The black boots create a smooth transition. I almost went for my white Veja’s but on this colder day, I thought the black boots would be better.

Black Bag: Furla | Black Belt: Zign

Lastly, of course I have to complete my outfit with a bag. This time my Furla bag got lucky. The shape of this one reminds me very much of the Celine Classic Box bag. Like the name states, it’s a very classic bag and I love the simplicity of it. This bag has the same vibes and that’s why I adore it so much. If you’re interested, it’s called 1927 Small Crossbody 23 Nero from Furla.

With the bag, it concludes the items I am wearing for this outfit. It’s the perfect, simple and comfy fall outfit for me! This season is all about comfort and warmth. I haven’t taken out my ‘real’ winter coat yet, but I think I will need to soon because it’s getting colder and colder. What’s your favorite fall outfit to wear? Do you have a ‘must have’ fall item?
