A New Phone, Bag, Blog & More | Loves Lately

Woo, there is another favorites blog post coming your way right now. Over the past couple of months I’ve had so many different things I’ve been loving. So that’s why I wanted to share them with you in this blog post. Actually, I wanted to share all of them after I went to Athens, Greece and London but here you already have it! This includes some geeky stuff (yes, who would have thought) but also some new things, which I’ve bought and got over the past months. Without further ado, let’s get started!

The very first thing I have been loving the past couple of weeks is kind of a geeky thing. Normally I don’t get crazy over these kind of things but I’ve been looking forward to this moment for a while now. Of course I am talking about my new iPhone 6s. I knew my phone plan was about to expire so I started saving for a new phone. For the past couple of months I got lots of notifications about the space on my phone. Lots of people have this problem so I knew I wanted to have more space on my next phone. When Lotte got the iPhone 6s in rose gold, I just wanted to have to. So when my phone plan expired, I went to the store and got a silver iPhone 6s with 64 gb. It’s a little bigger than the 5s and the quality of photographs is just beautiful (yes I sound like a crazy woman). Check my Instagram to see all of the photos I’ve taken with it on my trip to Athens ✈️

On to the next things, which is also kind of geeky. I’ve been subscribed to Lauren Elizabeth for a really long time on YouTube. When I saw on Twitter that she launched an app, of course I had to download it. Lauren made this app because she wasn’t feeling her blog anymore but did want to start writing again. I really like the idea to start an app instead, definitely when it looks like this. As you can already see in the photo above, the app is very clean looking, which I love. So of course I had to mention it because I think more people should download this app.

It’s very rare that I mention a book as a ‘love’ in a Loves Lately but it’s happening people. Yes, I have a book that I’ve been loving lately. Before I go to sleep, I try not to watch Orange Is The New Black or Jane The Virgin but to read for a little bit. Reading kind of calms me down and right now I am in a reading mood, so I have to take advantage of it. As you might remember, I got Anna Nooshins first book and loved it. So when she announced she was bringing out a second book, called ‘On Life’, I pre-ordered it immediately. The thing I really like about ‘On Life’ is the fact you don’t have to read chapter after chapter. You can just open the book wherever and start reading. Definitely a must to take with you on holiday.

Next up: jewelry. For some reason I end up wearing way more jewelry pieces during summer than any other season. At the Original Market, which I talked about in this post, I discovered the handmade jewelry pieces from Fleur Caroline. At the Original Market I got a ring (which I actually am wearing every single day) and these two earrings for my second earholes. I got two different ones because I like the mix & match look when it comes to earrings.

And this might be my favorite thing for the summer, my personalized necklace from Petitor. As you might know, I am all about personalized and initial things. So when I got contacted by Petitor, I immediately knew I would like a silver bar necklace with ‘wanderlust’ on it. Necklaces like this are very easy to wear with other type of jewelry or when you’re layering necklaces.

This is probably the most exciting thing of this post. For the past six months I did an internship at Van Os tassen en koffers. In one of my latest posts you may have read that I didn’t feel so productive because I didn’t have any time to blog. But since I’ve finished the internship, I kind of missed it. I was in this whole schedule and now I am totally out of it haha. Anyways, at the end of my internship I got this bag. It’s such a beautiful bag and since it has lots of different compartments, it’s the perfect bag for me. You’ll definitely see it in an upcoming outfit post…

On June 1st I went to the Pentatonix concert with my mom. Before the Pentatonix started, Us The Duo performed. I had seen cover videos from them before on YouTube but never really got into their original music. Until they started singing their original music at the concert. I especially loved ‘No Matter Where You Are’. So if you haven’t heard of them before or only know them from their Vines, definitely look up this song.

And last but not least. While I did my internship at Van Os tassen en koffers, I started this blog called OXXIES. This is a collective blog where lots of different bloggers will write and share stuff on. I am one of these bloggers. Since this blog is completely in Dutch, this is more for my Dutchies out there but yeah, you can also just look at the blog if you’re interested. And that’s already the end of this blog post. When you’re reading this, I am spending my last day in Athens, Greece. Tonight we will fly home and next week you’ll read all about our trip! But for now, did you like these ‘loves’? What has been your latest favorite?

My phone is due for an upgrade as well! I just need to look at when my phone plan is ending so I can get a good deal with my contract renewal.

Love your photos! That bag is gorgeous. Really loving muted tones this season (especially with the rainy weather over here). 🙂

Fijne nieuwe spullen heb je! Waar je je oorbellen in bewaard is zo’n leuk doosje! Ik heb zulke doosjes ooit gevonden bij een kringloopwinkel, was er zo blij mee 🙂

Last year I upgraded from a 5c to a 6 so I get you, I was so excited! haha However, I should’ve got the 64gb too because I’m always running out of space which is so annoying! x
