Always Find Time For The Things That Make You Happy To Be Alive | Loves Lately

While I was planning out all of my upcoming blog posts, I realized that I had so many things and stuff I wanted to talk about. That’s when I also realized that I hadn’t posted a favorites (also known as Loves Lately) post since the end of the summer. So this is definitely the perfect time to share another one. In this blog post I tell you all about how much I’ve been loving a new gadget, a homemade snack, a personalized item and more. Without further ado, let’s get started ♥

This first one, is my absolute favorite. You might think I am a nerd for loving this gadget so much but that doesn’t really matter. I believe I mentioned in my “This is how do I edit my Instagram photos” blog post that I started doing a photography minor. For this minor I needed Photoshop, InDesign and Lightroom so that is why I thought it would be a good time to invest in a new laptop. Don’t get me wrong, I love my tiny MacBook Air but for professional stuff I really wanted to get the new MacBook Pro 13 Inch Retina so that is what I invested in. It’s such a great gadget that I love to work with. Btw, don’t worry about my MacBook Air because I will alternate between the two.

As you might know, I love to bake all kinds of different things. Some seasons I tend to bake more than others and fall is one of those. Fall is all about the ultimate cozy feeling and a treat that goes perfectly with that is gingerbread cake (or kruidcake in Dutch). It is one of the easiest things to make because I always get the package where you only have to add a certain amount of water to, whisk it together and you’re practically done. Besides it being very easy to make, it is also very delicious (that’s why it is in here of course). Definitely worth a try!

In my latest outfit post I shared a little of my love for minimalistic earrings and wanting to have more to alternate with. Well, I actually got a new pair of earrings, which I’ve been wearing non stop. I am talking about these stud chain earrings from Fashionology. Anna Nooshin wears these type of earrings a lot and I really like the look of them, especially in combination with these small diamant shaped earrings from & Other Stories.

Of course my mom and I did a little shopping while we were in Milan, Italy (read here all about our trip) but we didn’t buy so much that I could do a full on Latest Purchases post about it. So I thought I would share my favorite purchase in this post. At 10 Corso Como (such a great store) we bought lots of buttons. We both really liked the designs on them so we got a couple of them and these are the ones I got. I think they are so cute but I don’t really know what do with them… Maybe put them on a canvas bag or a jacket?

And then on to something very fun, unique and personalized. A couple of weeks ago I got contacted by StickerApp if I wanted to try to make my very own stickers. It seems like a long process but it is actually very simple. When you go to their website, you just choose the material of your sticker, upload the photo you want to have on the sticker (you can also add some text and figures on the website) and determine the size. That’s all. It’s so simple and the end result is so cool. I have already given lots of them to my friends and put one of both on my suitcase. Using stickers for promotion of your blog (or webshop) is a really unique and awesome idea, right?

The time is finally here, John Mayer is releasing a new album! I adore his music so much and on the 19th of November he dropped a new song called “Love on the weekend” ♫. I think I’ve been listening to it every single time when I am on the go so it has definitely been on repeat. If you haven’t heard it yet, I would definitely suggest you do it right after you’ve read this post.

Lastly, I’ve been binge watching a new series. I think everyone knows Modern Family but it is about this family, which is just really funny and I can definitely identity with most situations in the series. I had seen some random episodes before but never from the first season on to the last (well, hopefully not last). So the past weeks I’ve been watching a couple of episodes a day and am already on season six… Now I have to find a new series to binge watch haha.     Wow, those personalised stickers and buttons are fantastic! Reminds me that I still have to make businesscards! And Modern Family is fabulous isn t it! I love that serie.

    Loved this post! I haven’t listened to the new John Mayer but I love him so will do that shortly! Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of new the Weeknd, Little Mix and DNCE. Quite poppy but loving it. Those stickers are super cute.
