“Oh my, it that another outfit post from Neeltje?” Yes! I mostly don’t put up outfit posts so close together… This year has started good for the fashion part of my life because I just keep finding ‘new’ outfits I wear and end up loving so much. That’s when I want to take new Instagram photos and share it on here because that’s why I have this blog. For this outfit, it’s very simple (black & white) with a pop of animal prints and with a bohemian vibe. 🍃
Bohemian Style Blouse: Costes | Dark Grey Suede Jacket: Vero Moda
Spring has really been creeping up on us lately. As you can tell from the photos, I wasn’t wearing a coat the whole time. That’s because it was so warm when we were taking these photos! I am actually loving this weather right now. Anyways, the jacket I am wearing is a faux suede dark grey jacket, which I actually got for my trip to New York. The best thing about this jacket is that it goes with everything and I can also wear thick sweaters under it.
Lately I’ve really been liking bohemian style clothing items. Loose fitting, see-through and wide sleeves. When I saw this blouse I really wanted to get it but didn’t. Of course I ended up regretting not getting it. I looked this blouse up online and immediately imagined how I wanted to wear and style it (like with this outfit), so I got it. It has so many small details on it, like the small dots and pleaded part on the sleeves and front of the blouse.
Black Mile High Jeans: Levi’s | Backpack: Gaston Luga*
When it comes to wearing jeans, I always go for my very beloved pair of black Levi jeans. By now you have seen me wearing them in a couple different outfit posts but that’s just because these jeans are my favorite and fit me so well.
I am very much a ‘bag’ person. Crossbody bags, canvas bags and backpacks. Yes, all bags are fine by me but I am very particular to the style of bags I like. When I was contacted by Gaston Luga for a collaboration, I was very interested in their backpacks. I do own a backpack, but that’s more a backpack to travel with and not for day to day use. The Clässy backpack is definitely perfect to be used as a day to day backpack because it looks clean and classic. The thing I find great about Gaston Luga bags is that they are all made of vegan leather and sustainable canvas. You can tell they are good quality and that means they will last a long time.
Opal Ring: Jewels and Goodies | Earrings: & Other Stories, Riverstones and Treasure Hunts
For jewelry I am wearing different things. One of my favorite crystals is Opal, so that’s why I wanted a ring with this stone in it. I found one that was big enough to fit on my middle finger and I’ve been wearing it since. With that I think it’s fun to wear different earrings in one ear since I can wear three earrings. Some days I just wear small studs and other times I wear rings. On this day I decided to wear both (as you can see).
Last but not least, I’ve been really into the animal print trend. Animal prints are really ‘out there’ and most of the time I don’t like that. But for some reason, when I found these sneakers in animal print, I kind of fell in love. They are subtile but still funky. Since I mostly wear black and white (like this outfit), it’s fun to wear a simple outfit with shoes like this. I absolutely adore them and have you seen they are kind of platform sneakers?!
Animal Print Shoes: Maruti
I absolutely adore this outfit so that’s why I had to share it on here as well. Btw, can we just take a moment for how amazing the weather in The Netherlands has been? It’s so warm but that also comes with a downside. My hay fever has started again so I am constantly sneezing, have teary eyes and my throat and ears are itchy. It really sucks so now I am looking to see what I can do (besides taking pills) to get rid of the hay fever. If you have any suggestions, please let me know! I am willing to try (almost) anything haha. That was kind of random, but… Do you like this outfit? Are you also into bohemian vibes?
