Brr, it’s so cold at the moment! Unfortunately it’s not snowing or anything but it’s just really cold. And how do you stay warm on cold days? Yes, that’s correct. With lots of layers, thick, fluffy and warm clothing items. Everything from sweaters to coats, scarfs, knit hats and more. During winter I will not leave the house without all of these things because I tend to be cold the rest of the day. So what do I wear to keep warm and still feel comfy? Well, that’s this outfit!
Dotted Wrap Blouse: Pieces | Black Teddy Coat: H&M | Black Boots: FOLC
The obvious thing I am wearing is my beloved teddy coat. In my latest outfit post I also wore it because it’s just so comfy and warm for these cold winter days. Underneath the coat I am wearing the dotted wrap blouse I talked about in my Winter Essentials post. I know, you can’t really tell but that’s just because it was so cold when we were taking the photos. During the holidays I was wearing this blouse non stop because it’s so comfy and very classy and festive at the same time.
And what boots am I wearing? Yes, they are my favorite black boots of the moment. They have to be the most comfy and inexpensive boots I’ve ever gotten. I have to be honest, they aren’t the warmest but I am able to wear thick and warm socks with them so that makes it a lot better during cold days.

Ever since I bought my first pair of Levi’s jeans, I have been living in them. I mostly wear my black pair but when I was cleaning out my close, I found my dark blue mile high jeans again. They are so comfy and give some color to my outfit since I tend to wear so much black.
To keep me warm on a cold day like it was the day we took these outfit photos, I am wearing a knit hat and scarf. I’ve had this knit hat for such a long time but it’s so cozy and I love that it has a bobble on it as well. The scarf is the one my mom and I got while we were in New York and didn’t realize how cold it would be. We were wearing the scarfs (in red and blue) every single day and now I am too because they are very large and soft.

Lastly, I am wearing some accessories with this outfit, like my black crossbody bag (the one I wear everywhere), my new earrings (which I got for my birthday), my new ring (which I also got for my birthday from my friends) and my new Fitbit. I already talked about the fact that I got a Fitbit but I just think it gives me very interesting information when I work out but also about how little I walk when I am working. It’s a little bit shocking but also a reality check that I should walk around more (also during lunch time)…
This is a pretty packed outfit post but I wanted to mention everything because when it’s cold, you wear more clothing items to keep warm, am I right! I can’t wait for it to get a little warmer but I also love wearing sweaters so… I am torn haha. What is your favorite clothing item to wear when it’s cold? Do you own a Fitbit as well?

Ik woon middenin de Alpen dus qua warme kleding heb ik nogal wat favorieten. Maar ik ga nooit de deur uit zonder nekwarmer. En dan vooral de wollen varianten van Kari Traa. Ohh die zijn zo lekker en zacht!
